Seasonal Flu Vaccination APPOINTMENTS AVAILABLE NOW. The practice will be co administering the Covid-19 booster and the seasonal flu vaccination, we will be contacting the first cohort of patient’s eligible for the vaccine which are patient’s over 75 and offering them a booked appointment to attend on either day.

Flu vaccination is available every year on the NHS to help protect adults and children at risk of flu and its complications. The flu vaccine reduces the risk of catching flu, as well as spreading it to others.

It is routinely given on the NHS to :

All children aged 2 to 15 (but not 16 years or older) on 31 August 2022
Those aged 6 months to under 50 years in clinical risk groups
Pregnant women
Those aged 50 years and over
Those in long-stay residential care homes
Close contacts of immunocompromised individuals

Frontline health and social care staff employed by:
a registered residential care or nursing home
registered domiciliary care provider
a voluntary managed hospice provider
Direct Payment (personal budgets) and/or Personal Health Budgets, such as Personal Assistants.

What to Expect from us :
Appointments will be pre booked, with a one way system throughout the surgery

Regular cleaning of all surfaces and equipment

Hand sanitising stations on arrival

What we ask in return please :

Attend at the exact time of your Appointment

Wear suitable clothing (ideally tshirts / sleeveless tops) so that you can easily remove outer layers of clothing and easily expose your arm

Cancel your appointment if you develop Covid-19 symptoms
