FOR PATIENT SAFETY WITH IMMEDIATE EFFECT.

Patients wishing to make an appointment must phone the surgery and a clinician will call you back. This is to minimise the risk to patients and staff.

The government has announced we are moving into the delay phase of COVID-19. This means, if you have a continuous cough OR a high temperature, you should stay at home for at least 7 days from when your symptoms started. We expect the NHS to be exceptionally busy in the coming weeks. If you have serious symptoms that you cannot manage at home or persists longer than 7 days, please go to NHS 111 online, or call 111 if you cannot go online. In addition to general doctor and nurse consultations we offer a number of clinics and services:

Female Health Clinic 

For any matters relating to women’s health such as cervical smears, coil checks, contraception, health and menopause advice.  

Diabetic Clinic

Thursday 13:00 - 16:00. Annual health reviews for diabetic patients, led by our practice nurses with the help of a chiropodist and dietician.  

Respiratory Clinic

We encourage patients with asthma or respiratory problems to attend for monitoring, review of treatment, further education and information on new developments.  

Healthy Heart Clinic

The practice nurse aims to monitor all patients who have angina or have had a stroke or heart attack.  

Minor Operations

Suitable minor surgical procedures are carried out by all the doctors assisted by the practice nurses.

Travel Vaccinations

We are Yellow Fever registered and offer a variety of travel vaccinations and travel advice to travellers.  Some travel vaccinations are free to registered patients.

POD

We have a machine which is called the POD. Patients can use this machine any time of day during working hours.The POD is a machine which takes your blood pressure, you can answer confidential questionnaires about your health and all information will be sent to your records.(please ask a member of the reception team if for directions on how to use.)
