Noticeboard

FOR PATIENT SAFETY WITH IMMEDIATE EFFECT.

Patients wishing to make an appointment must phone the surgery and a clinician will call you back. This is to minimise the risk to patients and staff.

The government has announced we are moving into the delay phase of COVID-19. This means, if you have a continuous cough OR a high temperature, you should stay at home for at least 7 days from when your symptoms started. We expect the NHS to be exceptionally busy in the coming weeks. If you have serious symptoms that you cannot manage at home or persists longer than 7 days, please go to NHS 111 online, or call 111 if you cannot go online. Do NOT visit a GP surgery, pharmacy or hospital. For further details on COVID-19 please click here

Are your contact details up to date? If not please contact the practice to update.

Temporary Registration

If you are ill while away from home or if you are not registered with a doctor but need to see one you can receive emergency treatment from the local GP practice for 14 days. After 14 days you will need to register as a temporary or permanent patient.

You can be registered as a temporary patient for up to three months. This will allow you to be on the local practice and still remain a patient of your permanent GP. After three months you will have to re-register as a temporary patient or permanently register with that practice.

To register as a temporary patient simply contact the local practice you wish to use. Practices do not have to accept you as a temporary patient although they do have an obligation to offer emergency treatment. You cannot register as a temporary patient at a practice in the town or area where you are already registered.
