Noticeboard

FOR PATIENT SAFETY WITH IMMEDIATE EFFECT.

Patients wishing to make an appointment must phone the surgery and a clinician will call you back. This is to minimise the risk to patients and staff.

The government has announced we are moving into the delay phase of COVID-19. This means, if you have a continuous cough OR a high temperature, you should stay at home for at least 7 days from when your symptoms started. We expect the NHS to be exceptionally busy in the coming weeks. If you have serious symptoms that you cannot manage at home or persists longer than 7 days, please go to NHS 111 online, or call 111 if you cannot go online. Do NOT visit a GP surgery, pharmacy or hospital. For further details on COVID-19 please click here

Are your contact details up to date? If not please contact the practice to update.

When We Are Closedclosed

NHS 111 is a new telephone service for people in Yorkshire to call if they need medical help fast but are not in a life threatening situation.

The easy to remember , free to call number is being introduced across England to help reduce the pressure on A&E departments and the 999 service.  Available 24 hours a day, 365 days a week, the service is available for people who aren't sure if they need to go to A&E, don't have a GP to call or generally need reassurance and advice.

On dialling NHS 111 a team, of fully trained advisers and experienced nurses will assess your condition and direct you to the local service that can help you best, when you need it.

For more information on NHS 111 visit nhs.uk/111.

There are now only three numbers to know : 999 for life threatening,  your GP surgery and 111.
